How to Install SeedDMS on Ubuntu

SeedDMS is an open source document management system. In my opinion, its features are quite powerful, easy to use, but unfortunately lack of documentation. I guess the developers are too busy focusing on coding and forgetting how good documentation will help the others to install and use the application. After some trial and error, I’m finally able to install SeedDMS on my Ubuntu.

In this tutorial, I use latest Ubuntu server 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) which can be downloaded via Ubuntu official website here and latest SeedDMS (version 4.3.13 ) which can be downloaded via sourceforge here. I assume you already installed Ubuntu and are familiar with Ubuntu environment.

Mencicip Teknologi 4G LTE Telkomsel

Tanggal 8 Desember 2014 lalu, Telkomsel resmi menggelar teknologi 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution) di dua tempat: Jakarta dan Bali yang tersebar di 200 titik. Layanan ini digelar di frekuensi 900Mhz dengan kecepatan yang ditawarkan hingga 36Mbps. Untuk dapat menikmati teknologi 4G ini, pengguna selain harus memiliki perangkat yang sudah mendukung teknologi 4G, juga harus menggunakan sim card khusus (USIM). Untuk mendapatkan USIM, pelanggan Telkomsel dapat menukarkan sim card nya dengan USIM di Grapari.

Perlu diingat, tidak semua perangkat/handphone yang telah mendukung 4G dapat digunakan untuk menikmati layanan 4G Telkomsel. Karena frekuensi 4G yang digunakan adalah 900 Mhz, maka hanya perangkat yang dapat beroperasi pada frekuensi tersebut saja yang dapat digunakan.
